Deposits

 

  • Cash deposits to any Heritage Isle Credit Union account are free.
  • Deposits can be made to any account:
  • In person at any branch of the Credit Union
    by mail.
  • by direct credit of any payroll, pension or other payment. Please quote our BSB No. - (807-001)
  • Quick Debit

 

Payroll Deduction and Direct Credit

 

  • Direct credit of your whole of pay or payroll deduction can be arranged directly to the Credit Union. Your payroll can be split in a variety of ways:
  • to make a loan repayment
  • to deposit to any savings account
  • to deposit to a child's account or the account of another Heritage Isle member
  • Other features of Electronic Payroll deductions  
  • It can be altered at any time. Any alterations must be in writing
  • Funds are cleared straight away
  • Cheque Deposits for personal accounts
  • Only 3 days clearance for most cheques deposited to your account
  • Wages cheques may be cleared earlier

Quick Debit

 

Quick debit is a fast, easy and safe way for you to move your money between other financial institutions and your credit unions.

 

Transfer funds direct from one account to another - instantly and automatically.

 

WITHDRAWALS

You may access your account in a variety of ways

 

When withdrawing funds from your account you may be asked to provide satisfactory identification. This is for protection of your funds.

 

Credit Union Corporate Cheques

 

One way of withdrawing funds from your account is by completing a cheque withdrawal form for issuance of a corporate cheque.

 

Conditions apply to this service

 

  • If you lose a corporate cheque or it is stolen, you can ask the Credit Union to stop payment on the corporate cheque.
  • Fees may be charged for these services, refer to our fees and charges brochure.
  • You also have to give the Credit Union an indemnity - the indemnity protects the credit union if someone else claims that the Credit Union wrongfully stopped the cheque.
  • The Credit Union will not stop payment on a corporate cheque if you use the cheque to buy goods or services and you are not happy with them. You must seek compensation or a refund from the provider of the goods or services. You should contact your Government Consumer Agency if you need help.

Third Party Withdrawals

 

A card and/or third party identification must be presented for all third party withdrawals.

 

All withdrawals must be properly authorised by the account signatory. Our withdrawal forms have an authority section you may complete for such transactions.

 

Withdrawals at another Credit Union - By Arrangement

 

To make a withdrawal at another Credit Union the member must have sufficient identification.

 

Cash withdrawals may be available at other Credit Unions, cheque withdrawals or transfers are not available. A fee may be charged by the Credit Union processing the transaction.
