Junior Saver Have you heard about the wonderful savings accounts that Heritage Isle Credit Union has for children under the age of 18? Parents, grandparents and family members can encourage junior family members to save by opening a Junior Saver Account today. There are some excellent saving incentives available for studious savers. Christmas Club Account Whilst Christmas is a wonderful time to enjoy with family and friends it also brings with it considerable financial pressure. Why not be prepared? A modest allocation each week can mean your Christmas expenses are well and truly covered. Key Features The Member can nominate to draw on the funds directly from the Christmas Club: or transfer the funds to another account type within the same membership number. If the Credit Union does not receive any advice from the Member, the funds will remain in the Christmas Club. If the Member elects to have the funds transferred to another account, a signed transfer form will need to be presented to a Branch of the Credit Union. The Credit Union will pay interest, calculated on the minimum monthly balance, on the 31st of October each year. The Christmas Club will be automatically renewed each year, if not closed. If you have a payroll deduction it will continue on for the next year. Budget Account This Account can be used as a budget account. The following facilities can be attached: - Bill Paying

Cheque Account Generally, this account is used to pay fixed periodical payments only. No interest is calculated on this account. - Cheque Accounts

The Heritage Isle Credit Union cheque account is ideal for people who prefer to pay bills and other expenses by cheque rather than electronically. This Cheque facility operates off members S1 account so no new accounts need to be opened. You can access your funds directly. Savings Investment Account This is an at-call savings investment account that pays a higher rate of interest and which requires a minimum balance of $1000. The Credit Union will pay interest, calculated on the daily balance and paid quarterly. The minimum balance to be held in the account is $1000, if the balance of the account falls below $1000 the account will earn no interest for the days that it remains below $1000. Housing Department Rent Account This account is specifically for Housing Department Rent and must be credited by Payroll Deduction. A Periodical Payment must also be set up to allow the payments to be forwarded. The following facilities are available: Planned Savings This is an at-call savings account designed to help you budget, by keeping your money separate from your main working account. The Credit Union will pay interest, calculated on a minimum monthly balance and is paid yearly on the 30th June each year.
